Last night my local yarn store had an olympic party. So much fun watch opening ceremonies. For this year's project I am knitting the vodka lemonade sweater. I am unsure if I will actually finish the project. Along with the sweater, I am knitting all the family members fair isle Christmas stockings. To get that project finished, I will have to knit one a week. Along with good news my sister Nicole is expecting her second child. We are very excited. I look forward knitting baby items. Hopefully, I will get everything knitted in a timely manner.

Finishing projects

This pass week, I was in northern Michigan on assignment. I feel I get a gold star of valor for taking this group in February. Fortunately it only snowed two days and only two inches. Good news I finished the first sock of Cookie A's Monkey sock. It is very pretty. I think I have first sock blues. But I promised this year I would use my stash.

Over a Year Already

Geez,

It has been almost a year since I wrote.  Last year was a very profitable year for me as a digital dental radiography instructor.  I co wrote a chapter in a dental assisting textbook.  That was very educational for me.  Plus all the Christmas I accomplished on the planes for work.  For a grand total 18 hats and 5 scarves and 10 pairs of  mittens.  For this year I have tested designs for Mindy Wilkes.  She has done beautiful work.  I have finished Wolf Moon with Chunky Ella Rae for January.  I finished February's Snow Moon in Jojoland 100% Cashmere.  I think that was the most beautiful design yet.  I can't wait for her March design.  To say the least my mother has taken claim for both designs.  I can't help but give it to her.  Her eyes brighten so much.

This week I have a meeting in Chicago for my company.  I have converted at least on of my friend's to start knitting.  Shelley wants to learn how to knit a hat.  My other friend Christine wants to learn cables.  It will definately be a whooly meeting in Chicago.

Finishing the Easter Vest

Well most people say thank God tomorrow's Friday.  I wish that tomorrow is my last work day of the week.  I have been gone since Sunday morning.  Assignments this week were Eau Claire, MI Goodlettsville, TN Rushville, IN Indianapolis, IN Elizabethtown, KY Louisville, KY and then back to Indianapolis, IN. But Thank God I have a job.  This week I am glad to say my nephew Logan's Easter Vest is complete.  I used the Sirdar Tank Pattern with the Snuggy Baby Bamboo yarn.  This was very nice yarn.

Also I think that my coauthor and I have a good start for the first lesson in the Dental Assisting Text book we are helping to write.  We have the Dental Radiography Lessons.  There is a lot of information that I already know and use daily, but some that is a good review or information I really didn't know.

This is the finished vest.  I am proud with the work.

Easter Vest

Well again I am in an airport knitting. I am waiting at the Memphis airport to go to Detriot. Currently I am knitting my nephew, Logan his Easter Vest.  I am using Sirdar Snuggly baby Bamboo.  It is super soft and wonder to knit with.  Logan is looking forward to wear it.  As of now, I have the back knitted and starting the front.  The hardest thing about knitting for me is wanting to be finished now.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
